2011 WSOP ESPN TV Table

Caesar's Entertainment, owner of the WSOP tournament, released the 2012 schedule today along with some new changes in the event.  Seth Palansky, Vice President Corporate Communications, opened the curtains on the largest, most action packed WSOP in the 43 years that the first ever, original poker tournament has been offered to poker players.  Leave your calendar open from May 27 through July 16 when the November Nine of the $10,000 World Series Poker Championship event will head home until the November.

From Saturday at midnight to the following Saturday at midnight, put in your hours and you'll earn money.  And pretty significant money at that.

 

Play 10 hours, get $50.  20 hours, $125.  30 hours, $200.  40 hours, $300.  50 hours, $500.  And 60 hours, $599 (to avoid IRS forms at the $600 giveaway mark).

Pius Heinz, 2011 WSOP Main Event Champion

A few minutes after midnight the final hand of the 2011 World Series Of Poker Main Event was dealt to the final two players, Martin Strasko and Pius Heinz.  Betting ended when Pius Heinz said "all-in" and was called by Martin Staszko.

Pius Heinz finished in first place to become the 2011 WSOP Main Event Champion.  He collected $8,715,638 in cash to supplement the coveted gold and diamond 2011 WSOP Championship Bracelet.  Martin Staszko received $5,433,086 for second place.

Sometime in the early morning hours on Wednesday the 2011 WSOP Main Event should finally deal the final hand and crown a world's poker champion.  Three players remain in the quest for poker's most sought after world championship bracelet, $8,715,638 in cash and the bragging rights as the top poker player of 2011.  Second place will receive $5,433,086 and third place will have to settle for $4,021,138.
