Cold, windy weather and under a canopy of threatening clouds did not deter the thousands of NASCAR fans from lining both sides of the Las Vegas Strip for a close-up look at their racing heros and noble steads. A NASCAR sprint car is as much of a star attraction as the drivers and crews. These colorful power monsters can smoke the huge racing slicks at will while producing enough noise (high-tech music to race fan ears) to get a fleet of 747's airborne.

Stratosphere Poker Room
Early this morning, Tuesday April 20, a lone gunman attempted to rob the Stratosphere Casino Hotel poker room. The suspect, described by the Metro Police Department as being 5'10" 160 lbs, in his early twenties, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and waving a handgun, failed to find any cash or chips after he jumped over the counter into the poker room's cashier cage.

Scott Montgomery, Professional poker player and WSOP bracelet winner, is reporting he was robbed at knife point in a restroom at the Bellagio Resort in Las Vegas on Monday.
